My father removed his prostat about 3 years ago because of prostat cancer (Radical Prostatectomy) , Gleason Grade 3 . Combined score 6 . about one or two month after surgery his PSA = 0.2 1 Month later above mentioned test, PSA = 0.3 1 Month later above mentioned test, PSA = 0.3 2 Month later above mentioned test, PSA = 0.4 1 Month later above mentioned test, PSA = 0.4 2 Month later above mentioned test, PSA = 0.3 1 Month later above mentioned test, PSA = 0.2 5 Month later above mentioned test, PSA = 0.24 5 Month later above mentioned test, PSA = 0.28 5 Month later above mentioned test, PSA < 0.05 6 Month later above mentioned test, PSA = 0.26 18 DAYS later above mentioned test, PSA = 0.2 Now I am so worry about increasing of PSA level from 0.05 .

At this point I wouldn't worry about it. The way your father's PSA is bouncing around there seems to be no pattern. It is possible that he may always have a PSA, I hear even women can produce a PSA. What you need to watch is the velocity of the PSA and  the doubling time. There are some people that will always produce some psa from tissue for example. I have a friend that has had a psa of .17 after surgery  for the last 7 years it has stayed about the same. At this point I wouldn't do a thing except keep an eye on it.
