Mother Just Diagnosed On 2/14/06

My mother was just diagnosed with cancer in pancreas this week. She first had colon cancer wich spread to her liver. Has had some chemo but it doesn't seem to be working. Cancer has spread to pancreas now. She has been having pain in her right side near hip for a couple of months. It gets worse after she eats. To make things worse she also has conjestive heart failure. I am very worried she is getting so thin and frail. Her coloring is not good either. Radiation is being discussed. Can anyone tell me will this work?

I am sorry about your Mom...my Mom passed away on 1/5/06, she had pancreatic cancer, until the last minutes it was too late to help her... My advise is to spend much of your time with her as possible, because she will not have much time to live... this type of cancer go in and kill our love one very quickly...nothing can help....destiny to be with GOD...

My mother has really been failing in the past month. She is not really mentally aware what is happening to her. She is very confused. We are still trying all of the avenues available. I know God can heal her and I will believe that until she takes her last breath.

My mother lost her fight with pancreatic cancer 2 weeks after diagnosis. She is in a much better place now without pain and in the presence of the Lord. We all miss her very much but I know I will see her again because my hope and faith is in Jesus. I would not want her back here in the shape she was in when she was alive. Now she has a new body and is free from all the pain she was in.

Hi...I am new to this board and your message caught my attention. My mom was diagnosed with metastatic pancreatic ca on 2/16/06. I TOO have faith and believe that she can be healed, but she too has to have the faith. I hope your mom is doing well and I will say a prayer for you both. Let me know how your faith walk is going. My mother went to her heavenly home on March 2, 2006. It has been hard without her.
