All the recent research suggests that we need to eat more fresh raw fruits and vegetables in order to prevent cancer and degenerative diseases. But how many? first it was five to nine, now its nine to thirteen. Why? Because they are showing that given levels of antoxidants and nutrients in the bloodstream lead to lower rates of developing disease and cancer. With so much research being done pointing to this conclusion how can we afford not to? Or should the question be how -Can- we afford to? Fresh, organically grown produce can be very expensive and not available year round. For those who can't afford to buy 9-13 servings a day, or those who just won't, I suggest a whole food supplement. I've found one made from seventeen, organically grown, fruits and vegetables. It's the only one I have found that's published in peer reviewed research journals proving that it significantly raises those levels of antioxidants and nutrients in the bloodstream.
