Hello Everyone:

As promissed after my first message left on March 01,2010, I have just received my latest PSA of 1.03.  I have continued with PC Hope, the Budwig diet, supplements, etc and my energy is back to where it was three years ago.

After being given no hope other than Lupron and being told by my urologist that there was nothing to be done, just buy some time,I truly feel I have been given a second chance at life.  I would be happy to share all my details with anyone interested and for further info on PC Hope, check out their website (Nutrition 2000) the testimonials alone will give you renewed hope!

Wishing everyone peace and good health,

Joe

Hi, my  name is Janice (galsaturday). I was wondering what PC Hope is. I have heard of the Budwig diet.

My dad is 83 years young and was just diagnosed with mesothelioma cancer.  Do you know anything about this of if what you are doing would help him.   thank you.  Janice

Joe,

I was told by Charley 27 that nutrician 2000 has some hormone blockage in it. Do you have loss of libido or tender breasts?

Dan

Hi galsaturday:

PC hope is a combination of herbs that helps the body to recognize cancer cells and destroy them.  I am not familiar with your father's type of cancer, but it would definitely be worth going to the website (nutrition2000) and inquiring about its potential help. The other thing I will say is to look into the bicarb protocol for alkalinity of the body as cancer cells cannot survive in an alkaline atmosphere. Budwig will add the oxygen necessary to kill the cancer cells and avoiding all sugar, alcohol and red meat will help to ensure the right atmosphere for cleaning out the toxins. At the nutrition 2000 website you will have the ability to read all of the testimonials as well as health /diet protocols to follow,if anyone can help or at least give you some advice it is Larry Pope.   I'll keep your dad in my thoughts,he;s lucky to have you doing the research for him,my wife did all of mine!

God Bless and I hope this helps

Hi Dan:

Yes,both, but it is not permanent and full libido will return upon the stopping of the protocol.  After just 90 days I have gone from 320 to 1.03 and am now on maintainance dosage with immune support, will let you know of any physical changes.

Joe,

It sounds more like hormone therapy, however you are smart in building your immune system with diet and supplements with the hope of going off it in the future. I hope you are taking D 3, pomegranate extract and other supplements. I have been able to keep my PSA at 0.41 with just diet and supplements.

wishing you continued success

Dan

joe i am so happy you found these folks--i am so excited for you-and did you see that study that nutrition2000 did- also dan,  dr.spencer who is a urologist that works for mr pope at www.nutrition2000.com told me that pc hope does not have hormones in it-(it is all natural) has phyto estrogens in it---he said what it does is, it tricks the brain into telling the body it has enough estrogen produced and the body will shut down producing estrogen and as a result it will shut testosterone that feeds off of the estrogen so there is no feeding of hormonal dependent cells-but pc hope unlike a hormone blocker, such as lupron, zoladex casodex, it will control hormonal independent cancerous cells-as the drug hormone will not , and the drug hormones only  last anywhere from 6 months to 2 yrs as a rule-some men will get 3 yrs once in a while out of the hormone blockers and once the the body rejects it, the prostate cancerious  cells will become completly hormonal independent--he said  the body would treat the pc hope very simliar to a hormone blocker-this is why the breats get tender and a mans libido drops--but as joe has said  as soon as you go on a maintance dosage, very low dosage -all of that will correct itself in a couple of wks--it did me the same way and mr pope told me this would happen, when i first started taking it--i am also on the immuner support, which is a natural chemo, thank GOD without the side effects--

Hi Dan:I hope you read Charley27 reply,as he clarifies the hormone question. I am on heavy doses of D3,maintaining a alkaline body,Selenium, magnesium, budwig, saunas, alkaline diet and exercise.  I agree with you 100% that we have to build our immune systems so the body can maintain itself, having been given this second chance,I have no intention of going off my diet or lifestyle change from here on out, everyday is a gift and I hope other men can learn of this and have renewed hope .So glad to hear you are doing well, what diet and supplements are you on? Would love to share your info.

Joe

Hi charley27:So good to hear from someone on PC Hope,I am just going to start on the immune support and am looking forward to continued health. You are so right about Lupron, that wasn't a choice I wanted to consider or chemo, although I was told that wouldn't work. Are you doing budwig as well as a alkaline diet? And what supplements if any are you taking? Share whatever you are comfortable with,we can't know too much as we are not going to get any help from the doc's and cancer treatments here,so sad with all the advancements being made in other countries and we are stuck with status quo here.
