Thanks for your message. Unfortunately my dad passed away 2 weeks ago and there wasn't really anything they could do for him...
My dad had a gastrointestinal bypass to bypass the tumor in his duodenum so eating would be easier for him; this is probably something that could help if your husband's cancer has progessed to the point where treatment is palliative only.
Furthermore, we did order Essiac tea; an alternative medicine, and he did seem to feel better if he took it; it's no cure however. If you google Essiac you can find a lot of information on it..
I wish I could help you out more but we did absolutely everything we could for my dad given the fact that chemo and radiation were no longer possibilities.
I would contact the Memorial Sloan Kettering Center in New York to consult them and get their expertise; they can also advise you on experimental treatments available.....
I'm so sorry I can't help you out more as I know how tough this period is; all I can say is don't give up, get various medical opinions and look for experimental treatments.
