Hi again; I now have some results from my last scan after 7 weeks of sorafenib. Sometimes taking less then the full dose and about 12 days of none at all,due to side effects, Scan shows no new lung tumors, with 1 not visable at all, shrinkage of 6mm in the largest that was 17mm and now 11mm. The new oncologest at the VA Reno, said this is great news for me, considering that I have only been on the drug for a short time and some of it was reduced doseage. Not being one to lay around and snivel, I am going to Alaska fishing for a month in late April while continueing to take the drug as best I can, I will have another cat when I return in late May and fully expect to see more good news for this 60 year old disabled vet whos not ready to give up the fight...MTAJ57

From Mtaj57; stage 4 and 8 full months on sorafenib, I am still doing well, if I keep after my feet,by removing any hard skin or blisters, hands are not as good as they once were, less feeling and dry.Am on a doseage of 400mg a day and sometimes i'll try 800,but the diarrhea gets to me within a couple of days, which leaves me feeling washed out and tired,so 2 pills is pretty much it for me,last cat showed a small amount of growth in the smallest tumor in my RT lung, the left lung is stable at zero growth, and nothing new is being found anywhere else,if there is any changes towards new growth,I will be shifting over to Sutent, which my doctor thinks may work better.I measure my life into fishing trips to Alaska and hunting in my home state of Nevada,in other words, stay alive and well for the next trip...Seems to work
