I looked at your picture and I must say it does not look good. It looks like squamous cell. You need to see a doctor immediately. The earlier the detection the better the chances are that it can be removed. Please do not delay in making an appointment. Please let me know what you find out. Anyone who has a suspicious bump,lump,mole should have it checked out. The sooner the better. As a stage III survivor, I wish that I had seen my doctor sooner. Maybe I could have avoided alot of the misery and sickness. I hope that you are doing better. It sounds like you have been through alot as well. It just looks like an ulcer. I'm a student who did Oral Pathology, so I can tell you that it does not look like SCC (cancer). However, if it is persistent, then you should definitely check it out and see someone in the Oral Medicine department. I'm not saying it is not SCC, as SCC can start out like that too...but it does not look like SCC. It looks more like a traumatic ulcer. Private Reply Quote Reply to This Message
