WELL - I guess she decided to leave us hanging. So sorry that she decided not to do another post. We are a very caring bunch.

I am in recovery from tonsil cancer, stage 4, and was found by ENT when I complained of post nasal drip issue. Long story short, biopsy done in Nov 09, started Chemo Dec 7th, Radiation late Feb 10, finished treatment mid April. Cure is much worse than cancer. Lost 100 lbs and still losing, slowly, but I started at 340 so its ok. Still very weak, can't eat much, mouth is always dry, and neuropathy from Cisplatin in fingertips and feet. Tried to approach with a sense of humor, which worked at first, but now its July and still unable to back to work, on Long Term Disability, and feel useless to my disabled wife. Still have had good support of neighbors(food and errands), work friends(keeping up with gossip) who wanted to bring food but since I can't eat much, they got a gift cert to Cosco for Ensure. I keep trying to push ahead, but now have kidney problem, teeth are starting to bother me and still can't eat much. Oh well, the outcome should be cancer free, final scans at end of July. The center in Encinitas Ca. has been very good with me, branch of San Diego Cancer Treatment Center
