Neck Disection

Hi there, Thanks for your message, and funny thing, I started an"investigation" by a lawyer regarding who to take legal action against, if any one. The process is going to cost $10,000.00 and this is just for the investigation only!! I will find the money somehow, as I already put a retainer of $5,000.00 down. I am sooooo mad that if it costs a million dollars I will make someone pay for my messed up life. I do have a real supportive family THANK GOD!!!!! I am very frightened for my future, as I am a hairdresser and a frozen shoulder is not toooo great in this feild.( I found out that when the surgeon cuts into the spinal assessory nerve in the neck, shoullder problems (pain and immibility) always happens. Unfortunatly, I was not aware of this before the operation. If you like, I will keep you in touch of the results of the investigation as I think it will be very interesting!!!!If anyone else has ever been in my shoes please feel free to e-mail me with your experiences, as I know no one who has had a neck disection.

hi There in Canada!

Wow! They really screwed you up eh. Can you share with us the
name of your Doctor so we do not become his next victim. You
know I work in the health related field and the problem with all
the Doctors is a big ego. Our bodies are at the mercy of their
big egos. I think it is simalr to the short man syndrom. You
know the old saying that a short man is always trying to prove
himself more than the tall guy. Well all these Doctors with big
egos are doing the same thing but at our expense. I would sue
the pants off them all even if I did not live to see any results. At
least it would make it better for the next guy that comes along
and has to be the next victim of some Doctors big ego. Hope
you have some qualtiy to the rest of your days and my sincer
symptahy goes out to you.

Neck Disection

Hi there,
I live in Canada and in Febuary this year I had a neck disection( both sides and the tip of my lung) I have never been through anything like this before! I only can work 2 days a week and I have to pay out of pocket for a massage therapist as well as a pysical therapist. I am not well and I am very pissed off that I was not made aware of the seriousness of this god dam operation. To make thing worse, it was a surgeons fault to start with. (4 years ago,I had my thyriod out and he let residue cancerous thyriod tissue in my throat) It took them 4 years to decide what to do and this time allowed the cancer to double in size. I now have frozen shoulder, inflammed nerve ending in my chest area, numb ears, head aches and overall feeling shitty. How was your day???? How was your neck disection??????? Let me know.

I'll try to make it short&sweet but profanity will be used.Flew back to Ct. a few weeks ago, wired for sound IV's, paper gowns and stretched out in pre-op.Say Hi to the chair at Yale. He's not sure this is a good idea, that's all I need, ready to bolt.About 1 year ago he performed a radical neck dissection,6 mos later worse than before, sched. more work, showed up,and left.A year ago no biopsy, mapping, this year all of the above.Wonder why I didn't get all that last year?Got a coin go ahead , flip it.Don't get me wrong , I sent him a thank-you note the talk we had was good and trust his opinion.Just can't figure out why all the technology that was available then wasn't used and still isn't today.I must be special.Have a nice day.Lab Rat.I almost forgot the profanity,I would really like to tell almost all MD's that know me to go xxxxx themselves. Now you can have a nice day.
