Hello Everyone,

I am new to this site. My husband was diagnosed with WM today. His Beta-2 is a 3, IGM is 5 grams and his hemoglobin is 7.8. I believe we have a very good Dr. and he consults with the other hemotologists. My husband will get a blood transfusion tomorrow and several other tests before he starts his treatment next week. He has opted to do the Phase II study of using Rituximab + CHOP. I was wondering if anyone else has been in this study or has had this particular treatment. The Dr. said this was a better way to go rather than using Rituxin alone. My husband is 70 years old and is otherwise in good health.

I would like to hear any feedback anyone has to offer.

Thank You
