Radiation To Vulva ?

Subject: Radiation to Vulva ?
Date: 03/28/2006
I just had surgery for vulva cancer and the lab report came back that it is invasive to 4mm. Now my doctor wants to remove my inguinal lymphnodes to see if it is in them too. If it is he wants me to have radiation and I am so scared to have radiation to my vulva because I have heard horror stories about it. Has anyone ever had to have that ??? And can you tell me what I would expect if I decide to do this ? Thank you !!!!
