Is Chrondosarcoma hereditary?

I was wondering does anyone have any info on Chronsarcoma? My biological father was dxed with Chrondosarcoma last year, had surgery and now in remission. Haven't spent my life with him but I was wondering if there was cause for concerns.
Any info would be greatly appreciated
Thanks
Sonja

My daughter had Chondrosarcoma in her right sinus cavity. If this is similar to what your father had, they didn't say nor have I read anything that says it is hereditary.

My daughter has recently been diagnosed with the above form of cancer and has undergone surgery on her face to remove it. She has been given an 80% survival rate for the next five years but has been told the survival rate drops dramatically after this. We have do not know anyone having this rare form of cancer and was curious to know if you have any advice/information to offer. Did your daughter survive her cancer.
