Thank You God

Thank you God for giving me the health and emotional strength to be able to care for my love ones during their time of need. Walk with me and keep me strong so that I may help those who will need me in the future. I know you have a plan for all of us. I'm not sure I always understand it, but I have faith that you will be there watching over us and holding our hand to guide us through this life until you finally take us in your loving arms.

God never makes mistakes. I never understood how true that was until I developed carcinoid. We just don't understand as we are merely humans, but He walks with us on our journey. Sometimes He carries us. Thank you, Father.

And "Thank you Barb01" for putting a whole other perspective on what I am going through.  I have been caring for my husband for about a year now. He has pancreatic cancer and had the whipple surgery with lots of complications and sometimes I get angry because it is taking my life also.  I need to be thankful that I CAN  care for him.  Thank you for being an angel messenger this day.

Before I got cancer I would see  someone that was physically or mentally handicapped and I would say to myself, There but for the grace of God go I. Well I am not so sure that is such an accurate statement. God wants good for us. All the time. That's why he gives us care takers and cancer boards. To learn and help be taken  care of. Thank you God for caretakers!! and Thank you for another day to get to dwell in your awesomeness. Amen,
