I have not been on the message board in a while. My husband was diagnosed with GBM Jan. 2005. Jan. 2006 he had an inoperable reoccurance. The temodar seem to have work for a while because nothing showed up on his MRI. His oncologist said that the temodar did not work for him, six leisions showed up on the Jan. 2006, MRI and he had no other chemo medication that would help him. His oncologist referred him to Dr. Friedman at Duke and the NIH National Institute of Health in Bethesda Md. After reviewing the clinical trial each place had to offer. We chose the NIH center. He is on zd6474. My husband has had his comparison MRI and the tumor disolving. I have never experienced a place like this before. Have you heard about the NIH Institute? Mike B.
