<title>One year post radiation for nasopharyngeal carcinoma</title>
<description>I am trying to live life the best I can, but I have a few side effects from the radiation.&amp;nbsp; I have jaw problems from degeneration due to radiation.&amp;nbsp; I went to a dentist who made me a night splint.&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;Despite that I had a letter stating facts, and the dental work being medically neccesary. The insurance only covered $39.00 of the $600.00.&amp;nbsp; I now have been referred to an orthodontist.&amp;nbsp; I can only imagine the fight this is going to be.&amp;nbsp; I also need laser treatment on my chin because it looks like a prune from the radiation.&amp;nbsp; I could get breast reconstruction covered at 100%.&amp;nbsp; I guess I got the wrong kind of cancer.&amp;nbsp; Seems there is discrimination between cancers and what insurance companies will cover.
Sucks,
