For those of you who saw my last post my gram has glioblastoma (9-05) and on hospice we were given pretty much no hope. My mom told me last night that her doctor called and asked if we wanted to bring her in for a check I guess because she is still with us and to see how she is doing. I orignially thought that was a great idea because I think she is rallying at this point and she really has my mom confused as to why she is doing so well. Plus I told my mom that couldn't give us any worse news than they already have but now I think they could. What if they do a scan and find out that it has spread and my gram stops rallying and gets depressed and gives up? It is so wonderful to have her "back" right now but my family is reaching denial as to her condition due to how well she is doing so I think they are going to decide to send her and pray a miracle happened. Has anyone else been through this and can tell me what to expect and if we get bad news again do you think my gram will stop fighting? I never expected this twist to things.
