Squamous Cell Carcinoma in Esophagus

i would like some info from anyone who knows about squamous cell carcinoma of the esophagus. my mom noticed a lump in her neck and then finally went to the doctor when she could not swallow even her own spit. that was 10 months ago. she has since had a feeding tube and a titanium stent put in. she is in so much pain and taking morphine. the stent only helped about 2 months till the tumor blocked it. she is dpwn to 90 lbs. today she had the doctors use argon to try and burn through the tumor and create an opening. Sometimes i just wish all the pain would end for her. it is so hard

My dad has been giving my mom boost plus in her feeding tube. It has more calories than the Nestle liquid that they had been feeding her. He mixes the two together, she gets more cal. less volume. She has kept her weight and gained a pound or two.
