This message goes out to who ever has had to come across the battle of cancer. I am 29 years old and have been battling cancer for the last eighteen years of my life. I have had over 46 surgeries with the removal of my whole tailbone sacrum and left hip. I have had 39 treatments of radiation and chemotherapy.. I no longer can have any treatments just surgeries due to complicatiopns from a previous surgery that left me with two colostomies.I was at a young age at the time of treatments and at the age of seventeen I found out that i was unable to have kids.. I have had a broviac kidney tube wound vac you name it i have had it done to me. You always read stories of peoples lives and you always find that when you think you have it the worst somebody elses story tops yours..For encouragement for all you people out there yeah I could of easily gave up but in two and a half months I will be getting married to the most beautiful girl in the world and I hope all of you out there have that someone special who will be right by your side every step of the way.

God Bless you...I so understand your journey..I admire your attitude...of hope and
continued strength and spirit. I too, developed
cancer at a young age, with small children..and
have been battling stage 4 disease for 7 years,
all kinds of surgeries, radiations, medicines and chemo. With mets to bones, endured more pain than can be imagined. Along with this horrible illness...the emotional pain that
goes along with it is very challenging. It
has effected my marriage..to the point that
I will soon be divorced. My husband really was
unable to cope with my illness and I was unable to reach out to him...so we both went our own ways, emotionally. I just want to point out the
importance of keeping close during the hard times, with your soon to be spouse. Make sure you hold each other each night...sometimes there
are no need for words..just hugs of support and understanding...I wish you love...Kathy
