Does Anyone have any information on Rituxan? My boyfriends dad just found out he has NHL and goes today for his first treatment of Rituxan. I have heard so much about this but am not sure what to believe. Thank you for any info anyone can give. Jennifer

In 2003 I received 4 doses of Rituxan, thank God it saved my life,  BUT,

I've went downhill ever since.  Shingles, back pain, legs, hips in much pain     Pain management doctors  told me   TO LEARN TO LIVE WITH THE PAIN

I pray for your father-in-law     hopefully  he will continue to Rituxan and not have all the pain  I think is associated with Rituxan

I had two treatments of rituxan and apparently that was all it took for me.  I had a small problem with the first in that about a half hour into it i felt a numbness in my upper lip.  The nurse stopped the treatment, gave me some more treatment to prevent reaction and after a half hour restarted my chemo.  I had no problems following that nor in my second and last chemo. I apparently had caught my cancer early(started at the base of my tongue and stopped in a lymph node at my collar bone) and it only took two treatments to knock it out.  I've had no adverse reactions since my chemo stopped.
