my day has leukeia and has a very hard time breathing and catching his breath, his lung doctor tested his oxegen levels and said his levels were over 88%. does anyone eles have this problem who has leukemia?

My dad was always like that & it was the reason he went to the doctor to begin with.
Have the tested his lung function? My dad lost a lot after chemo.

yes, I have pumonary fibrosis post transplant. i was diagnosed w/ aml in 1998 and after transplant in 2000 was diagnosed w/ pulmonay fibrosis. i am presently on oxygn 80% of the time but still am maintaining quality of life . i put myself on enzyme therapy thru online pivotal health compny to hopefully slow the disease. but all be known i am extremely fortunate to wake up another day. good luck to you and yor dad. doc

What is your dads heart & lung function at? Before my dad passed; it was at 28%
