Given 6 months to live, need your advice ASAP

I am 70 years old and on 6-16-10 I was diagnosed with stage 4 inoperable colon cancer, which has spread to my liver and his prognosis was that I will only live another 2 to12 months, if I refuse his orthodox  treatment.

My Dr. wants me to under go five weeks and a half weeks of radiation 5 days a week, and take chemotherapy in a pill form called xeloda.

I’m in good physical condition, take a boatload of food supplements twice a day and eat mostly all organic food from whole foods in order to build up my immune system and allow my killer cells to fight off the cancer.

I was also told by a man who cured himself of prostate cancer that I should start Jim Humble’s mms1 and 2 protocol (see jimhumble.biz for his protocol).

I have a appointment to get tattooed for radiation 2-9-11 and my dr. says there is only a 20% chance that he can shrink the tumor and have it removed surgically.

I need all the advice I can get ASAP or else reschedule the appointment until I get enough responses to make an informed decision.

If you were my age, what would you do? I joined this forum because I am searching for alternative way to heal myself, besides cutting, burning and poisoning myself.

I read somewhere that people who refuse orthodox treatment live just as long as those who take their Dr’s advice. Is there any truth to that? How on earth could say that with certainty? I don’t think there is any way to prove it.. I would deeply appreciate everyone’s input

Sincerely,

Jiminopks

I would stop eating fructose (anything which tastes sweet including fruit), grassy grains (wheat, barley, rye and oats), legumes (beans peas and peanuts), and nightshades (tomatoes, potatoes and peppers). All are heavily linked with insulin and cancer. I would replace them with animal protein and animal fat. You will likely experience withdrawal symptoms.

Hi Jim

I've also seen a statistic showing that people refusing chemo, rad, and surgery live just as long or longer than treated patients. Their quality of life might be much better also, without all the damage to their body and immune system?

After researching over a year now, one of the best treatments I've come across, besides a whole foods raw plant based diet,  is IPT, low dose targeted chemo. It seems to be much more effective with very little side effects and damage to your body. Dr James Forsythe, featured in Suzanne Sommer's book 'Knockout', has been using this treatment for some time with good results. His clinic is in Nevada

His clinic sends your blood overseas to get tested, and comes back with the exact chemo needed for your specific type of C. Called chemo sensitivity testing. Guess it's much more advanced than what they use here in the states at mainstream treatment facilities. He also uses IV Vit C, Poly MVA, nutrition/diet, and several other treatments.

If you look up 'irishgirl105' on this forum, her name's Judy and she has stage 4 Colon C, mets to liver, and is at Dr Forsythe's clinic right now, for the next couple weeks. She says she's responding well the the IPT and Dr Forsythe expects remission.

will send you some other good info by private message. Best wishes, Jeff

I would find a doctor willing to experiment on me with the effects of low dose naltrexone (LDN), and its effect on opioid growth factor receptors (OGFr). LDN has very minor side effects. It could be the answer. It should theoretically reduce the withdrawal symptoms associated with dropping fructose, grassy grains, nightshades and legumes. The active proteins associated with these foods are opioids. LDN temporarily blocks immune opioid receptors and stimulates immune responses. http://www.ldnresearchtrust.org/uploadeddocuments/dr-zagon.p ....and.... http://www.medvision.org/mihpf/medinsight%20-%20ogf%20review

Hi. My wife, same as you was diagnosed stage 4 colon cancer and only given 2 to 3 months to live. We refused surgery/radiation but opted for chemotherapy (that was in oct 2009) my wife still has cancer although you wouldn't know it she is active, healthy, lives a normal life (if you call running around everywhere and working all day normal) and tells me she intends to live to 85 yrs she 50 now.

Xeloda is good, after many different chemo treatments and lots of side effects, she is now on low dose continuos Xeloda and while it is not curing her cancer it has stopped it growing.

My husband and several people we know have been on flax oil and cottage cheese with success.  Research it at yahoo groups for success stories.  Also Avemar ultra.  Neither of these will deplete your immune system.  Ask them what percent the treatment will increase your chances and then make a decision.  My husband stage 3 was given 13% extra success rate with chemo so he opted out of it thinking we could get almost that rate with natural things that would not affect the immune system in a negative way.  I would do a lot of praying for wisdom.  My husband is now 69, his surgery was 3 1/2 years ago.

Don't give up hope!! keep researching. My dad now 73 was diagnosed in 2007 with stage 4 colon cancer. We have tried many things and he is healthy. He is also on a clinical trial right now that stops the cancer from getting its food supply.  He drinks diet coke non stop, so we try to give him as many fresh juices as possible to raise his saliva alkalinity to a high level. Lemons work so well. I juice 3 a day for dad. I have read recently that you have to put your mind in a state that you believe you are already healed.

A Simple Example

It is well known that the quality of thoughts create certain kinds of biological affects. For example it is well known, and scientifically established, that negative thoughts create stress and in turn this releases stress hormones in the body (cortisone). Cortisone is a degenerative hormone and is destructive in the body causing illness and disease. By contrast, positive, happy thoughts do the opposite, within the body they release beneficial hormones such as: beta endorphins and human growth hormone which are regenerative and healing to the body.

Jimi,

I have read studies that people who do both traditional treatment and take supplements live longer than those that don't.

A couple of suggestions, one check your vitamin D Level, I take 5000 IU of D a day. Without adequate level of Vitamin D your immune system won't activate. Secondly I would take Flor Essense Tea and add pomegrante extract, at least 500mg a day.

Lastly I would fire the Doc that announced how long you would live if you don't get burned and poisoned. The doctor that told me  I had 4 years to live I fired and I am in my sixth year. As far as radiation and chemo that is your call and your call alone. Personally I would skip it with what I know today.

Hope this helps

Dan

I have used this protocol to defeat my advanced prostate cancer.

There is a book called Outsmart your Cancer that you should read, (thankfully there was a copy at our library).  It is about Alterative cancer treatments. Some are quite expensive, some are very affordable (cheaper the chemo/ radiation). Some of the treatments can be used for advanced cancer.

My mom has 3/c colorectal cancer and we are looking into all forms of treatment. I hope that this info helps you.
