Hi everyone

has any of you out there had a desmoid tumor of the pancreas, I have just been diagnosed & had an operation to remove the tumor from the body & tail of the pancreas. The surgeon's have told me, I have a very rare desmoid tumor,So rare that there is only one other person in the world with this type of desmoid tumor. What makes this tumor different is the tissue it's made of, It can go from benign to malignant, and can migrate.

I have a friend on facebook who's son has that type of tumor on his pancreas.  He is being treated with chemo at emory in atlanta.  I wonder if he is the other person with it.
