Constant Adominal Pain

AFTER TUMOR REMOVAL FROM SMALL INTESTINE OF METS FROM LUNG CANCER, I HAVE HAD SURGERY FOR ADHESIONS.
IT 6 MONTHS LATER, AND IAM EXPERIENCING THE SAME SYMPTOMS. WHAT CAN I DO OR ANY ADVICE. MY LAST EPISODE LANDED ME IN THE EMERGENCY TWICE AND TWO HOSPITAL STAYS B4 FINDING THE PROBLEM ANY HELP WILL BE APPRECIATED. WONGWEY

Hello. My husband was diagonosed with stage 4 colon cancer with mets to the liver in July 2003. A year and a half later he had severe stomach pain and we ended up at the hospital and had surgery for adhesions and had 2 loops of the bowel. A couple months ago, the same thing happened again only his surgeon assumed it was adhesions and scheduled him for surgery before it became an emergency. This time he had 3 loops of the bowel. Unfortunately, these things can reoccur, so I hope you have a good doctor who does orthoscopic removal of adhesions. If they open up the belly to do the surgery, you are only asking for more trouble.
