I had a bone scan because I have severe bone pain and high alkaline level. They found acivity around my lumbar region and shoulders. My pain has gotten so bad it is difficult to walk and stand. My Dr. ordered x-rays. any feedback would be helpful...Raven

I too suffered with severe pain from my bone cancer that is in my lumbar, sacrum and other areas of spine..... I was sent to a Pain Mangement doctor after I completed my radiation.. (because I still had so much pain afterwards).  After the evaluation, I had a an intrathecal cathader with pain pump put into my back..... I have been pretty much pain free since then. Pump gets refilled about every 3 months and stays in body for up to 8 years.

hope this helps,

Yancy
