My mother was diagnosed with an III D Ovarian Cancer last year on May. She went through the surgery and removed her most of the cancer cells. Then she went went through the Chemotherapy. She began to recover and started to live a normal life, but about 1.5 months she again complained of having pain. The symptoms were like before, she doen't have an appetite and no sleep.
Therefore, she was again given a Chemo, this time the drugs used was with the less side effects (no falling of hairs like before). Doctors told us that this drug takes a little more time to take effect. But her condition didn't improve. Therefore, they changed the Chemo drugs again.
Her stomach staretd to bloat with water, therefore last week on Friday, they removed most of the water deposited in the stomach. But since yesterday, the water filling in her stomach is back again.
Can anyone please tell me, is this what happens when disease gets worse. Any information is highly appreciated.
