Jaundice After Whipple Operation

My husband had a whipples procedure in 2004 to remove a tumour that had attached itself to the pancreas, it was Non Hodgkinsons Lymphoma that had originated in the small bowel. the treatment was followed up by 6 sessions of R-Chop. He has now been Jaundice for 12 months but no one can tell us why. They have eliminated it being the cancer returning, but several scans (MR, CT and a gamma xray of the bile ducts) have been unable to find the cause. His alkaphosphate levels are raised on all his liver function tests but have been ever since the Op and his Oncologist does not seem to think they will ever return to normal but does not see this to be a problem.

Has anyone else experienced the Jaundice following the whipples or R- chop?

I am still sure that there is a blockage somwhere
as the jaundice is intermittant and goes hand in hand with his stomach distension and bowel movements.

Thanks
