My son has been having severe pain in his testicles. While running one day, he said it felt like someone kicked him in his groin area and he fell to the ground. It has happened several times since. This has been going on since March 2011. He has gone through 2 rounds of antibiotics and still the pain is there. One week ago, he had an ultrasound. His results will be given this Thursday as to what is going on. He is 22 years old, athletic, and very worried that it could be testicular cancer. As his parent, so am I. He never complains, is very healthy with the exception of a persistent cold since December.
What are symptoms of testicular cancer? Or, after reading this, are there any suggestions as to what this might be please? I would appreciate any responses or answers. The doctor said that it was not a hernia.
Thanks so much! Worried sick mother
