My 15 year old neice had an xray taken at her family doctor a few days ago because she has been having a lot of unexplained pain in her wrist. The nurse called the next day and said that it looks like she is producing too much bone in her wrist and she used the term "scirrhous". They made an appointment for my neice to go to the Shriner's Hospital this Wednesday. We are going crazy trying to find out what exactly this could be and every time i search by this word on the web I keep seeing the word cancer but specifies gastrol or colorectal. Does anyone have any info on what this could possibly mean? Is the doctor telling us that my neice could possibly have some form of cancer? Other than the wrist pain she has had no other symptoms and as far as we know is a healthy active girl. Any information would be helpful as I'm not getting too far on my own - what i've seen so far is scaring the hell out of me. Thank you for your time...
