I have gone to the cancer treatment centers of America and they are great. I had a tumor on my right kidney. It was stage one cancer. Everyone that went to my visits could not believe how wonderfully every patient is treated there. It may be the place you need to go. Call and talk to them, let your mom talk to them and then follow your heart. I met people who were like your mom and they were told how bad things were and they got very good specific news from CTCA. My own cousin told of a woman she knew who went to CTCA. Her local hospitals gave her 1 yr. At CTCA she got 9 good quality years and my cousin being a nurse practioner said she knew if this woman had stayed local she would have gotten the 1 yr period. This is only my opinion and experience I hope it helps and your mom gets more time. In the meantime GOD BLESS and good luck.

Before anyone goes to a Cancer treatment center of America, be sure to ask if they accept your insurance. Since I ( and about 11 million other Americans) have a Medicare Advantage program, we arenot acceptableto CTCA.

They may be wonderful, but only to thos acceptable to their board of directors!
