My friend has had a rare cancer in his eyeball, which was blinded since he was three. It was only two years ago that his cancer was identified by his doctor in an eye examination when his parents thought it was about time to remove his blinded eye ball and replace it with a artificial one for cosmetic reason. Things went really dramatic since then, three to four major surgeries and chemo and radiotherapies within one and a half year. Just when everyone thought it was finally over, a lump appeared just months after the last operation. Doctor anounced that he has only another six to 12 months to live. It is really hard for us to believe that my friend, who is looking healthier than ever is dying and that there is nothing the hospital can do. Apparently according to the doctor, he estimated that it won't take long for the cancer cells to penetrate the skull and spread into his brain.
We would really appreciate any relevant info on alternative medication or treatment that would prevent the seemingly rapid-spreading cancer cells in him.
