Could i Have Cancer? Terrible Stabbing Pain During Intercourse

For the past 2 years I have had terrible stabbing vaginal pains during intercourse and am afraid it could be cancer. I had a ct scan 2 years ago and the gyno doc(a woman)simply told me I had to relax more during sex because I tightened up so during the exam. I also asked her about tiny nodules at top juncture of thighs where my panties rub against the skin. She nodded when I asked if they were skin tags. They are actually achey at times. i had a total hysterectomy ten years ago because of extensive and chronic endometriosis. I guess what I am asking about is-couldthe painful intercourse be my only symptom of vaginal cancer? I really need to talk with somebody about this before seeking a new gynocologist. ( I am full time in my RV with my husband and need to find one while I am in Idaho until October.

My syptoms for vaginal cancer were bleeding during intercourse,just a tiny pink amount at first, but got much worse. It had become somewhat painful during intercourse at the top of the vagina which is where my tumor was. I had a hysterectomy 11 years prior to my diagnosis. I also was having a small amount of urine leakage (just a dot at first, but also got worse). I thought I had a bladder problem. I was diagnosed and treated just short of two years ago.

I appreciate you responding to my message. I went to the doctor last week and am waiting for pap and biopsy results. the vagina has shrunk in size by over 1/2 and may be the reason for the pain, etc. How are you doing these days and what kind of surgery/treatments have you had?

I had radiation and chemotherapy, plus was treated by a homeopathic physician at the same time. If you would like to reach me, I have forwarded my email address to Paula. I would love to hear from you. Your symptoms are nothing like mine from what I've read. But, just stay positive, it's so important. I'll be sending good thoughts your way.
