Our wonderful 7 year old shepherd-Husky-Lab mix dog Jacob got diagnosed 4 weeks ago with persistant lymphoma---he's on a palliative Rx program of prednisone---which is really helping to shrink the nodes and keep his appetite and stamina up.He gets nice fresh chicken, yams, vitamin C to keep his interest in food way up. We started him on mangostteen-3 caps a day of mangosteenRx one week ago and within 2 days the external nodes shrunk noticably and he quickly regained some weight and muscle mass. We really have new hope that he will n ot only live longer---the prognosis for dogs is very short--but that he can reverse the cancer which has already reached the spleen.
Is there any veterinarian or pet owners or non-Hodkins patints who have been working with mangosteen---We would love to receive some input. Thank you.

We've got a dog going through the same thing and we've recently ordered a mangosteen juice but have yet to recieve and start using it. We came about the mangosteen though because of reading about it showing signs of working in combination with paw paw cell-reg. I'm not sure if that'd be a supplement you'd be interested in but thought I'd throw it out there for you to look into and decide for yourself.

Dreww,
I think your dear dog will benefit from the mangosteen--we gave Jacob 3 caps a day of Mangosteen Rx-( search on web by mangosteen Rx)you can place a rush order direcly on line-your dog might be unwilling to drink the juice.Sadly, Our lovable dog passed away this Thursdy---The cancer had spread too fast to his spleen -we think it ruptured-we had him put to sleep with peace and dignity and no needless suffering-Wish we started earlier--his last weeks were great-the decline happened so suddenly. the mangosteen gave him such vitality and protected him from other infections and stressors. His appetite and digestion and tone was strong till his last day.( we added a mix of sweet potato, white potato and cooked ckicken--the potato mash is for intestinal comfort and appetite stimulation). We wish you all our love and hope for your dog,
Jacob the Big Dog's loving family
