Subject: Husband Has Cml
Date: 09/22/2006
Hi Beth, My husband was diagnosed 2 years ago with CML. He is now 40. He was emediately put on Gleevec and is now in remission. The Philadelphia Chromosome is undetectable at this point. We are very lucky and recommend strongly that you try the Gleevec. There are so many things out there and more coming on the market for this type of Leukemia. We are lucky to live close to Boston and my husband has a wonderful Dr. at Dana Farber Cancer Institute. Please feel free to ask more questions if you have them. I will try to help any way I can.
