need to talk

Looking for someone to talk with.. My husband is 44 years old and was diagnosed with advance prostate cancer in August. The cancer has spread to the bones. We have been to the Mayo Clinic and then to the CTCA in Il. We go back and forth don't know weather to continue treatment here at home or go to CTCA. I just need someone to talk with.

I also need to talk to someone wife has stage 3-4 lung cancer at age 43

If you haven't been able to talk to any one yet maybe i can listen i don't have cancer my self but i have been taking care of my mother she had stage 4 A lung cancer but is now a survivor. I know how you must feel and i know it really helps to talk about it!! i'm here if you need me.

Hello, i'm a good listener and can maybe help a little if you want just let me know and like i said im my mother's care giver so we have been through cancer to!

thank you it is so difficult as i used drugs and alcohol for 33 years and now im clean and not sure how to deal with all these feelings as i used to stay high alot so ididnt have to face my problems now im overwhelmed with feeling emotion and clean

my Dad has stage 4 lung cancer..also a tumor in his liver and lower spine...I have never had any experience with cancer...he is 86 and living with  me. they are going to try cyber knife treatments,..he is already in so much pain, and hardly eats anything,,he is using a pain patch..

any idea what to expect ?

Hello your situation is like mine but my wife is only 43 so she can take the treatments shes tough yet.

Your Grandpa,im so sorry but wouldnt you be happy if you lived to 86!!!!? hek i would be im 45 my name is Mike,my expectations,pain patch is strong dangerous medicine they have dependancy problems ,but it is important VERY IMPORTANT that he is comfortable.

 I know nothing of this cyber knive you speak of,expect its gonna get worse before better,i would ,dont wanna set yuorself up!! Except it its part of life we come we go,As i heard at 1 of way to many funerals for my age,was that life is like a series of doorways,and that death was just another doorway,made sense then does now.

I do not want to tell you that negative stuff but face it. :o)
