Hello. I'm new here

I had cervical cancer surgery in Sept. 2005. I was diagonsed with cancer a second time April of 2011.  This cancer is related to my cervical cancer of 2005.

Where my cancer is located this time is on my backbone and my liver.

Treatments this time: two separte rounds of radation, 10 days each time, on  my backbone. I've been having chemo every 3-4 weeks since July 29, 2011.

I'm happy most of the time.  I do have my  crying moments.  I, also, have moments of anger coming from nowhere.

I'm wondering if any of you have experienced this type of thing?

Feel free to ask me any questions about my cancer or my life.

Sorry to hear that you've a a reccurance of your cancer.  I'm stage 4 as well, carcinoid cancer though(primary in the small intestine).

All of the moods you're having are completely normal.  I've found that joining a local cancer support group has been very helpful too.

Where on your spine are your mets?  Have you had liver pain?  How's the chemo working?

I'm glad to hear my moods are normal.

No, I have't had any pain from my liver.  Just pain from my backbone. I've had two separte tumors on my backbone.

The chemo is working.  I've had one CT Scan awhile back.  I'm having another one on Tuesday.  I'll know more after that scan.

I don't drive because of all the pain meds I'm on. That's why I chose an online chat message board.

So sorry to hear this,,,but have hope and this time it may be a miracle and help you and a year from now you will be better.  Chemo is no fun and radition.  Good luck and God bless.
