Contact ASHA--American Speech and Hearing Association. There are speech therapists who specialize in voice therapy, and there are ways to teach your father to talk without his larynx. I am sorry to hear about your father. My brother is also in the same boat, he see's a doctor this Thursday. Please let me know what information you found out. My brother might have to have his voice box removed too.
