One patient with glioblastoma still alive nine years later

Dearest friends...LOVE, LOVE, LOVE...ALL YOU NEED IS LOVE.
Today, a year ago, my beloved man Hollis died in my arms. It is really quite beautiful. Sad, yes, but a gift to be there and hold his body as he shuffled off the mortal coil.
It is a bittersweet day for me but I will take some of his ashes, and his dog Rowdy's ashes (both died of brain tumors) and scatter them in the lake where they fished and frollicked and by God I will wail at the world like a warrior and go back to living.
Thanks for being here. Some days I truly believe it is all I have and really all I need at the time. xoxoxo Roxy
ps. eat a lot of chocolate today for me... okay?!!

I raise a glass to you! As I know Hollis and Rowdy will love your thoughtfullness of giving them a little fishing time.....
You wail at the World and I will listen from Houston! As I know Roxy is already a warrior!
Much love to you!

I don't spend much time anymore on the boards but was so glad to see your post. I so admire you for all your beautiful post in loving memory of your Hollis.
Time goes on for each of us as we go on living. And yes, it's all just a bittersweet memory of a previous life we lived.
Sending my heartfelt thoughts & prayers to everyone.

Roxy sister been thinking of you all day. What a memory, to have and to hold. Heartfelt good luck to the man who is out there and is going to fall in love with you (it will happen) and wants to help you build new memories around Valentine's Day. He is going to be one special dude.
Much love every day,Sarah
