I feel alone!

I'm 26 years old. I have Gardners syndrome. I was diagnosed with stage 4 colon cancer that has spread to my lungs. I've almost died twice since then. I've had every infection the doctor can think of. I'm going through chemo and I haven't heard of anyone else my age going through this. I haven't been told how much time I have. Only that we're working on quality of life. I'm scared. I feel alone. I have 3 kids and a new husband. How do I keep the strength and determination to go through this when all I find is death around me?

iam going thru this pancreatic cancer with my 58yo mom.

Call cancercare.com they have ppl you can talk to and give you advice. Dont give up just keep fighting and look seriously into hollistic methods.

Thank you very much. I try to stay positive. But it's so hard sometimes. I'm so young, I have babies still!  And not such a good prognosis. 

I am praying for you and your family:)  I am 45 and had one third of my colon removed 10/11 for c.cancer .  I had no signs, you prob didn't either until it had spread.  When I went to CTCA in IL there was a young man age 29 from Atlanta, GA that also had stage 4.

Honniebear: Doctors only know what they know....I have seen many patients (as a nurse and cancer survivor) deny all sorts of odds. So no matter what they say, keep your eyes on God; keep praying, keep positive, and "refuse" to give up. You may be surprised. Praying for you.

I too had stage 4 colon cancer back in August 2006 and was told I'd never have surgery and had less than 50% chance to live a year with chemo. I have been cancer free for 5 years now. I changed my diet and began juicing organic juices, stopped eating red meat, sugar and processed foods. I also had hundreds of people praying for me. One of the heart wrenching experiences early on in my diagnosis was the thougth of leaving my children behind without a mother. I understand your pain and I understand how scared you feel. Please don't give up hope, no man numbers your days. God is the Author of your life. Remember that God loves you and will never abandon you. Praying for your peace and healing. 

I hope you find hope. I can remember when all hope seemed gone and only death was waiting for my dad. after researching for 3 years day and night. I am convinced that we ourselves do have unlimited options. Thanks to God.

Dear ptasa, I am praying for you and your family, please look into breast cancer on this sight there are many survivors doing the chemo and natural juices no red meat no sugar total organic if u can do it, there is u-fucoidan, idol, curcumin that is making a difference on scans of all these people, I am on second reoccurrence and have changed to all of this, Springflower on the site is very knowledgeable, God has so blessed me thru this site, Cancer cells love sugar please pull up the names and read the news also asparagus but if you will go to the breast cancer site u will see what I am talking about.
