She turned 60 on March 9th. It took SOOO long to find out what was wrong with her. She just came home after a distal pancreatectomy yesterday. They took her spleen and some lymph nodes. No one mentioned any chemo at discharge so I am guessing they will discuss this with us at her followup on the 14th. I am her only child and her only support really. Bless her heart she hates feeling like a burden. She lives alone about 5 minutes away. To be honest, this is hard on me and my immediate family and I joined this discussion to find others to talk to about their experiences. We are all scared to death. Thanks for reading!
