I've had a mole for quite some time, or so others have told me. Its on the back of the rim of my right ear. My doctor looked at it around 1 to 1.5 years ago and noted to keep an eye on it on my record. I went into the doctor last week for a bad cold. She looked at it and told me to go right to the dermatologist to have it removed. I went to my dermatologist and they did not like it niether. They removed it. I got a call from the derm on Friday saying it was Melatoma and they want me to go to an Ear, Nose & Throat specialist as they need to take more. That is all I know. My appointment is tomorrow with the EN&T, but for some reason I am getting a huge burst of scared. Has anyone else had melanoma on the rim of the ear?

as long as you caught it early its no problem. Just the surgery. You just dont want stage 3 or 4 .
