Jan/11, I went unresponsive at home with profuse diarreha, vomiting. Entubated in the ambulance, on a vetilator for 3 days in ICU. Chromaganin was 25,000, then over the next few wks, went to 35,000. Octeride scan didn't find anything. After 3 mnths, chromaganin returned to normal. April12, a total repeat of Jan/11. Spent 5 days in hospital, plus they couldn't get my blood pressure up for 3 days. I am having repeat blood tests and 24 hr urine test. My face turns flameing red. I am scared and don't understand what is happening to me. I have read all the info I can, and I have all the symtoms for carcinoid tumors.  I have lost 23lbs since Nov/11.. I thought I was dieting, but really have change my eating habits.mabe someone can give me some insight. I might add I have had severe IBS since I was 10, I'm 65 now. I also have ulcerative colitis and ischemic colitis. Can someone help!

Why hasn't your doctor out you on sandostatin for the symptoms?? You need to see a specialist in carcinoid like the dream team docs in Kenner , Louisiana. They are the pros and well worth the visit. Goodnluck to you, Rhonda
