Hi Marcy, I did my IL-2 in Portland also. Dr. Curti is my oncologist. He is great isin't he. Your right, the staff is awesome, especially George....do you live in Portland? And I also would do it again if I had to.

Our paths are very similar, surgery followed by IL2 (sadly ineffective), small brain met removed in Dec 2011, now on Sutent (since March 2012). Scans following second cycle were very encouraging, and we are hoping for continued good results. I am curious to hear more about how you are handling side effects. So far, worst for my husband in sore feet, dry mouth and fatigue. Also, tell me more about the asparagus and "super green" drink. In what way are they making a difference?

I, Too am a non-responder to hi dose IL-2. I knew the odds were slim, but I was (and still am) going with the attitude that this bastard can be beaten, or at least lived with.
I just posted results of a Phase 1 study that dramatically increased the response rate to IL-2. This is stellar news.

Did you or your loved one seek a second opinion before starting cancer treatment?
No, but we got a second opinion after we started treatment
