Hi, my name is Nelvi. My dad's battle with cancer started February 2012. It's been 5 months and here we are. I will never forget the day his physician told my dad and I he had cancer and it was stage 4 and his probablilities of surviving was 6 months to a yr. we were devasted! But God is great and I ser it through my dad. My dad has two Tumors currently one in the liver and the other one in the adrenal glad which is on top of his right kidney. They have done scans to see if he had them in other places and fortunately he doesn't have any other Tumors. The oncologist recommend a procedure called Tace for the tumor in his liver. The other tumor has not been treated. His liver is too weak to take regular chemo, and because he is in stage 4 he doesn't qualify for surgery. They have approved him to take a chemo in take as a pill called, nexavar. He hasn't started taking it because it doesn't seem like he needs it unless they see his cancer numbers going up. At this time his numbers have gone lower. One,I think the tace procedure help. Two, his nutrition has change to nothing but organic. And believe me when I tell u this...it made a huge different on dad. Two weeks
After he came back from the hospital I saw a change. Third, a Japanese doctor who is a customer of mine at work recommend me a supplement call, IP6. This supplement helps ur immune system. Also, he is taking a juice call, mangosteen. This juice helps Jim with his antioxidants. The combination of that and the believe in God, I tell u he doesn't look or feel sick. He is going back to see the doctor on June 5 and we will see how much better he is doing. I'll keep u guys in touch. I hope this helps a bit. Love ya, Nelvi-Houston, TX
Usalva,
My name is Anton,
I am new to this forum and your dad and I seem to have the prognosses as my liver was treated at a cancer facility and they told me I may have six months to live. This was in February 2012. They set me up with Hospice and sent me home. At that time I couldn't even get out of the hospital bed they provided. But I decided with the help of God that I was not ready to die without a fight. I worked my way up to a wheel chair, then a walker, and finally a cane. As of now I feel great and doing well but still get negative reports from some doctors. I am persuing second opinions from another cancer group and will be seeing a cancer doctor, one of the best in the area on June 28th,2012.
