on MM

hello! My husband just now diagnosed with MM. In 2009 he had trauma that caused him bone pain. Treated with different pain killers but later we found out that he already had kidney failure 2010.We decided to have renal transplant thinking it will solve his problem and nothing more .But the transplant didn't do well bec he had severe infection post op and until now he is not recovering and even getting worse.His bone pain went back and did ct scan with lesions and biopsy with MM.We have been thinking he was misdiagnosed having the same symptoms back 2009. Now we are on schedule with the oncologist for treatment but I am just worried about his kidney.He is not on dialysis yet.Hoping for the best

The Kidney problem came from MM, My personal opinion is I would go after the doc who did the transplant.   Most inopropriate , but that is my personal take. I pray he is being treated for MM.  Get new doctors, can you go to a big cancer hospital.  Are you insured to use Cancer Treatment Centers of America.  Get help fast!!!!!!!

Thank you for your reply....He is now on his 2nd week of treatment for MM velcade,thallix and dex.I'm just hoping and praying that his kidney will still improve......
