Bladder pain ?

Hi all,

I have been getting pains like a pinching pain and aching and also pain like something is stuck at the base of my ribcage..when i was pregnant last year the hospital scanned me and found about 3small polyps 3mm i think..i looked up online when i got home and chose to concentrate on my pregnancy and not this. Now say 12months later i have this pain that is 95% always there and it is starting to freak me out as my little boy is 10months old. The pain i only took note of about 3weeks ago when I remembered I had these polyps. I have got an appointment with the doc today im hoping to ask to be refered to an oncologist to be reasured. I did go to my gp 3weeks ago my friend said to have them removed b4 they start playing up and the doc said basically thats rubbish...but since going to the docs i have noticed the pain more. Is this me just being dramatic do you even get pain ... i know im not imagining it the pain is there, im just in a state of worry here....i have found your website and read that you have blood in your urine, i do not have this or i havent seen any. Also reading here says best to get checked out early because of doctors neglegence GP that is (i read someone had wrote) I am 36 female and a smoker for 20 odd years ..please can anyone help..i have to leave for docs in an hour just hope its a different gp i see than last time because he didnt seem bothered at all. Hope everything does okay, i had no pain caused from the bladder cancer but you never know and good you are having it checked out. I would say just from reading this though it is something else.

Thank you :) i went to docs and it was a different GP i was very happy to see. He told me the ..suspected polyps were 2.5mm and 2.8mm in my Gallbladder and that it could be stones. I am very relieved to hear but was still worried as bloods were done 3lots there and then he said and he sant them off as urgent he also put me onto having a second scan now as it has been 12months since my last scan and they will be able to see if it is polyps or stone see whats going on in there. I am so happy with your reply that there was no pain with yours so im hoping it will be just stones ;)

If they have to take your gall bladder out that isn't a big deal these days, a friend of mind had his out and they don't even cut on you in most cases these days.Good luck to you. Glad thats all it was.

I had bloods taken 3lots gp said to check my livers working properly and the scan to see what the suspected polyps are will be able to tell now 12months down the line. will post on here my results in next week for bloods. thank you so much for your reply its nice to know someone is out there :)
