The Benadryl helped...and calamine lotion, according to instructions,,, he is allergic to kiwi, and I read, it is common, as latex comes from the same gum tree... My husband had real bad watery eyes yesterday, it appears it's all symptoms... I called his visiting RN, an will take him to ER if he gets worse...
Does anyone have any experience with this? We see surgeon Monday...

I am on this site currently because my Dad has EC. But I had Thyroid cancer 2 years ago. I do have a latex allergy and notified them before surgery. After surgery, I had a very severe burn on my neck and upper chest where they had used drapes sheets with adhesive during surgery. I notified the surgeon and he was going to contact the manufacture. I am sure it was latex, I am unable to be in the sun now, the burn was terrible. I did not have a rash but everyone reacts in a different way.
Hope this info helps
