Does anyone have experience with these two drugs?

My husband has exhausted all other chemos and direct liver treatments and is on the last leg and he must choose between these two drugs.   Any comments or stories to share.

Thanks Sandy

if he is KRAS wild type then either one would be an option.  More reactions with Erbitux but some say the rash is worse with Vectibix.

Thank you for responding.    He has the correct KRAS whichever that is.

Hi Sandy, I was on erbitux for a year. The rash was the worst part (they said it would go away in 4 months) but never did. Had some hair thinning & weight loss. I had cancer everywhere in the abdominal area and after a year, it was completley gone.

Best wishes.

The oncologist gave me something with benzoyl proxide in it and I tried some over the counter soultions. Nothing worked for me & the scalp rash was the worst. Some responses over the years have said Head & Shoulders worked for them. The rash goes away several months after you stop taking erbitux.

I had antibiotics for my rash when I was receiving Erbitux.  I had a rash all through my scalp and also on my back and chest areas.  Once I started on the antibiotics it helped with my scalp rash which was exceptionally irritating.  I would wake up with blood on the pillow as I usually scratched it in my sleep.

Best Regards

Julie
