How do lifestyle factors and exposure to environmental substances affect our cancer risk?

Hi All -
My mother was recently diagnosed with signet ring cell carcinoma of the bladder, she is only 63 and to had to have her bladder and part of her colon removed. We met with her oncologist today to discuss post surgical treatment and as I was hoping he suggested we get a second opinion at a specialized cancer center... This is a very rare type of bladder cancer so I want her to see the best! Anyone with a similar DX have any suggestions? We are in Nebraska and looking at MD Anderson, Mayo and Cleveland Clinic... any info/suggestions are greatly appreciated..

I`m so sorry about your mum! I have no experience with this but I hope that someone knowledgable will share his/hers experience with you.
Wishing all the best, Adams

Did you or your loved one seek a second opinion before starting cancer treatment?
No, but we got a second opinion after we started treatment
