Do you have your cancer source in the bile ducts or did it mets to them from somewhere else?

my husb was just dx with intrahepatic bile duct CA. I am so frustrated as I cannot get an answer on the time he has for reasons of his family who are out of state. The doctor keeps saying it is an "aggressive' form. He does not have much pain now but I wish I knew what to expect. Can you help me no matter how vague it might be?

Hi there,
my husb was just dx with the disease in stage IV. As aggressive as it has been stated to be I am fearful of the sort of pain he will have to endure. They are going to start chemo next week but he is just beginning to have pain and only wants to know how long he has. I wish for anyone suffering that they go quickly. I think that watching your love one hurt has to be painful. My father went through pancreatic cancer without much pain and died at age 56; so I do know how it works. my best wishes for you all.
