Test Results Today

I got my test results from MDAnderson today and looks like they all came back with good results once again.  Doc was pleased.  I had a little swelling in my ankle and soreness so she ordered an xray on both my lower legs and ankles today.  I did complain of little neurapathy and cramps in my feet/legs so right now the plan will be to complete the Rev 25 mg which I just got a new refill on for this month and then on the next refill will drop it to 15 mg and see how that works.  I guess I will take a chance and hope my counts don't mess up.  And I am still on the Dex 20 mg once a week.

Thanks all.  It looks good but I am just wondering if it's a good idea to drop the Rev dosage down to 15.  I saw my oncologist on Thursday and asked him if my MM doc from MDA called him...not yet.  We talked about the dosage and he doesn't think it's a good idea which I had a feeling would be the case.  He says if you drop to 15 you might as well stop it for now and see how it goes.  So now I am wondering if I should just stay on the Rev 25 since it is working good.  I just didn't want the neurapathy to get worse.  So what are all your thoughts on this??

As for the summer, we are now in South Florida arrived in Ft Lauderdale area yesterday for the week and then on the way back next week will be staying in Panama City Beach for a week.

Hi Pop.  Glad to hear about your positive results!  I was up to 15mg of Rev and I had a bad reaction when they raised it from 10mg.  I had to be off it for a month and they dropped it back to 10.  I had my 6 mth. post transplant in May and my results came back very good also.  They said I am in a really good remission.  I guess they will keep me on 10mg.  I take it every day, with no Dex.

Glad to hear you are in a good remission too.  This seems to show how these drugs work so differently on different people.  I originally was on Rev 5 mg for maintenance but it didn't do the job and I had a relapse so they increased it to 25 mg and seems to be working good.  I have a feeling I will be staying on the 25 mg.
